The Heinrich Böll Foundation scholarship

The Heinrich Böll Foundation scholarship is open for applications to undergratuate and graduate (masters and PhD) programs. This is a great opportunity for students all over the world to study in a german university. Students from the UE and outside of the UE can participate on the programs. The application documents are:

• Application form
• Letter of motivation (1 page)
• Curriculum Vitae in tabular form (1 page)
• Description of your previous studies, or school development and study plans in the case of school graduates (1 page)
• Personal reference from a third party on your socio-political involvement (1 to 2 pages)
• Expert reference from a university or college lecturer or a school teacher for school graduates (1 to 2 pages)
• Copies of school graduation certificates/qualification for university entrance
• Copy of intermediate exam certificate and/or the first degree certificate, if already issued
• Proof of current college or university enrolment (pasted onto an A4 page)
• For foreign applicants: proof of German language skills
• For applicants of the program “Medienvielfalt anders: Junge Migrantinnen und Migranten in den Journalismus”: work samples
